On Thursday, July 4th, and Friday, July 5th, we celebrated Etecnic Days, a series of event-filled days focused on team-building activities designed to strengthen connections among all employees. We gathered the entire team from our offices in Madrid, the northern regional branch, and our two offices in Reus under one roof, reinforcing our team cohesion and corporate growth.
Workshop on Enhancing Personal and Business Communication
On July 4th, we kicked off with a group activity bringing together all team members. In this session, Xavier Plana Virgili, a communication specialist, guided us through hands-on exercises on achieving successful communication at both a personal and professional level.
Xavier encouraged us to reflect on how internal team dynamics and emotional well-being directly impact our overall performance and daily life. He highlighted a critical concept: “mental viruses,” factors that can negatively affect our state of mind and compromise both personal and professional sustainability. To tackle these viruses, he introduced several “antivirus” tools—self-management techniques that help us unlearn harmful habits while keeping a clear, focused mind.
Through these insights and practical activities, we gained a deeper appreciation for effective communication and adaptability in an ever-evolving corporate environment.
Afterward, we enjoyed a delicious selection of tapas, giving everyone a chance to catch up and talk through the presentation. The atmosphere was filled with laughter and great energy.
Etecnic Photo Inspire 2024
Two weeks prior to Etecnic Days, we launched the Etecnic Photo Inspire 2024 contest, where team members could enter by sharing photos related to electric mobility. During Etecnic Days, we held the prize draw and showcased some of the most creative entries, awarding the winner a weekend getaway with an electric vehicle.
Recharging Energies and Connecting with Nature
Under the banner “Recharge Your Energy with Etecnic,” the entire team headed to the Poblet Forest, near our Reus offices, to hike the “Painted Mushrooms” (Setas Pintadas) trail. We enjoyed the outdoors and the colorful painted mushroom artwork along the way, blending physical activity with immersive natural surroundings.
To cap off Etecnic Days, we gathered for a company lunch. It was the perfect opportunity to unwind, talk, laugh, and get to know one another in a relaxed setting. We shared stories, deepened our bonds, and enjoyed an afternoon of camaraderie and good spirits.

Etecnic Days 2024 was a resounding success. These two days gave us the space to learn and reflect on key communication skills while enjoying outdoor activities and downtime. The hike through the Painted Forest and the team lunch reinforced our sense of community and shared purpose. Furthermore, the Etecnic Photo Inspire 2024 contest sparked creativity and highlighted our shared commitment to electric mobility. Without a doubt, these days will bring our team even closer together as we continue to grow side by side.
