How do I know if it’s cost-effective to replace combustion-engine vehicles with electric ones?
It depends above all on the usage pattern: daily kilometres, type of journey and whether the vehicles return
to a fixed base where they can be charged. Generally speaking, it is more cost-effective when journeys are
predictable and charging can take place during off-peak hours (for example, at night).
In addition to savings on fuel and maintenance, you should also take into account access to benefits
such as low-emission zones, priority parking or exemptions in the city centre. At
Etecnic360, we carry out a preliminary study using your fleet’s actual data to calculate the savings and the
payback period.
How does the installation of these points affect my company’s contracted power supply?
Installing several charging points at once may require more power than you have contracted, particularly if you are already using a significant portion of your current supply for other processes. Before installing anything, we analyse your available power and your actual charging requirements to determine whether you need to increase your supply.
In many cases, this isn’t necessary: we have dynamic energy management solutions that distribute the available power amongst the chargers according to the consumption of the rest of the installation, thereby avoiding a costly increase in power capacity.
How much does it cost to install electric chargers?
There is no set price: it depends on the number of chargers, their power output, whether you need any additional civil engineering work, and the scope of the project (installation only, or including management and maintenance as well). That is why we do not give fixed figures without first assessing your specific situation.

How is the cost of recharging shared amongst employees or departments?
The EVcharge platform allows you to allocate each charging point – or even each individual charging session – to a specific cost centre, vehicle or user. This provides you with detailed consumption reports by department or individual, and the option to bill this expenditure internally rather than treating it as a general business expense. It is particularly useful if you share the charging infrastructure between your own fleet, employees using their own vehicles and visitors.
Can both staff and visitors or customers top up their accounts?
Yes, the system can be configured with different access levels depending on who will be using it: staff only, company fleet vehicles only, or open to customers and occasional visitors as well. This is set up via the management software itself, without you having to install separate access points for each user profile. We can help you decide which combination makes the most sense based on the intended use of your car park.
What maintenance is included in the service?
The service includes preventive maintenance, with regular checks to detect potential faults before they affect operation, and corrective maintenance should any issues arise. This is complemented by remote support, meaning that many problems can be diagnosed and resolved remotely without the need for a site visit.
The aim is to ensure that the infrastructure continues to operate reliably throughout its entire service life, not just at the time of installation.
