Camping Ametlla joins the electric era by installing new charging points with Etecnic
Camping Ametlla has taken an important step toward promoting sustainable mobility.
With the goal of providing environmentally friendly services to its guests and visitors, they have chosen to install two semi-fast charging points for electric vehicles, each equipped with two 22 kW connectors.
Etecnic’s role in operating the charging points
The campsite chose Etecnic, a leading provider of EV charging solutions for businesses, to operate the charging stations.
Etecnic played a pivotal role in installing and managing these charging points in L’Ametlla de Mar. Users can now easily locate the charging points using the EVcharge application, which offers an intuitive interface and precise search functionality.
EVcharge, the software selected for implementation
These new Ingeteam model charging points are part of the charging network managed by EVcharge, a platform that guarantees a safe and worry-free charging process through advanced monitoring and control technology. The EVcharge SaaS platform is already deployed at over 3,000 charging points, delivering a reliable and convenient charging experience to drivers.
MOVES III grant program
Camping Ametlla accessed the MOVES III grant to fund the installation of the charging points. The MOVES III program is a government initiative that promotes sustainable mobility by subsidizing EV charging infrastructure projects. Thanks to this grant, the campsite has been able to advance its commitment to fostering the transition toward electric mobility.
In recent years, Etecnic has successfully managed over 90% of MOVES Plan applications, demonstrating its expertise and capability in implementing electric charging projects efficiently and effectively.
The installation of these semi-fast charging points at the campsite in L’Ametlla de Mar is a significant step in the right direction toward a more sustainable, eco-friendly future.
