Project Description
Neftys Farma has opted to integrate electric mobility and renewable generation at its Reus facilities, trusting Etecnic360 to develop a comprehensive solution tailored to the site’s characteristics.
The project includes a 60 kW fast charging station, capable of charging one vehicle at full power or two simultaneously at 30+30 kW, alongside a 41.4 kWp photovoltaic solar plant made up of 90 solar panels.
Both installations are connected via a Zero Export system, which adjusts solar generation in real time to match the chargers’ consumption. In this way, the generated energy is directly utilized to recharge vehicles, avoiding surpluses and optimizing the use of renewable energy generated on-site.
Etecnic360 managed the full development of the project, including engineering, civil works, electrical installation, charging infrastructure, photovoltaic plant, permitting, and commissioning.
Identifying Needs, Regulations, and Grants
The project stems from the need to equip Neftys Farma’s facilities with an electric vehicle charging infrastructure capable of integrating with the company’s own solar power generation, thereby optimizing the use of renewable energy within the electric mobility system.
To this end, a 60-kW DC fast-charging station has been designed, capable of charging one vehicle at a maximum power of 60 kW or two vehicles simultaneously at 30 + 30 kW.
The project is part of the MOVES III Program, funded by the European Union’s Next Generation funds, which requires that the charging station be paired with a renewable energy source. To meet this requirement, Etecnic360 has incorporated a “Zero Injection” system, which ensures that all solar energy generated is used exclusively to charge electric vehicles, without feeding any surplus energy into the facility’s internal power grid.

Programa MOVES III
The project is part of the MOVES III Program, funded by the European Union’s Next Generation funds, which offers grants for the installation of electric vehicle charging infrastructure with associated renewable energy generation.
Another step forward in Neftys Farma's sustainability strategy
With this project, Neftys Farma SD is incorporating electric mobility into its facilities while also harnessing the potential of its own rooftop to generate renewable energy.
The result is an infrastructure designed to facilitate the fast and efficient charging of electric vehicles, while also enabling progress toward more sustainable and optimized energy consumption.
Thus, the company adds a new initiative to its commitment to sustainability, incorporating a solution that combines electric mobility, solar self-consumption, and energy efficiency in a single project.
