Sustainable Electrified Transport Workshop at the Port of Tarragona

On May 6th, Etecnic organized the Sustainable Electrified Transport Workshop at the Port of Tarragona, an event focused on the electrification of heavy and light transport.

The event brought together electric vehicle manufacturers, charging solution providers, carriers, companies, and industry professionals to share experiences, present real use cases, and analyze the main challenges in the transition toward more sustainable mobility.

What will you find?

Charging and test-driving sessions: attendees were able to experience electric charging and driving technology firsthand alongside leading manufacturers such as FOTON TRUCKS, OHM, FORD, ZEROID, FLOOX, NIDEC, and XCHARGE.

Conferences and panel discussions: industry leaders and experts debated the present and future of electric transport, while also presenting real case studies of companies and carriers that already operate electric vehicle fleets.

Participating in these sessions were AEDIVE, Empresas por la Movilidad Sostenible, AGRUCAES, Movertis, Sertrans, and Calzina Carré.

Lunch and networking: the event also provided a space to connect with industry professionals, exchange insights, and create new collaboration opportunities in a relaxed atmosphere.

Electric vehicle testing and charging solutions

One of the main highlights of the workshop was the opportunity to test-drive electric vehicles and learn about different charging technologies tailored for heavy, light, and commercial transport.

The live demonstrations showed in a practical way how these solutions work and their potential application for fleets, transport companies, and logistics operators.

Conferences and real case studies in electrification

The agenda featured conferences and panel discussions focused on implementing electric mobility in commercial transport.

Attendees learned about real experiences from companies and carriers that have already integrated electric vehicles into their fleets, as well as discussions on charging infrastructure, energy management, operational feasibility, and decarbonization.
