Etecnic: Transforming electric mobility since 2015

Founded in 2015 in Reus by Jorge Ríos, Etecnic was born with the objective of democratizing electric mobility and leading the transition toward a more sustainable model. With rapid expansion, the company launched EVcharge in 2018, its cloud SaaS platform for the intelligent management of charging points. Thanks to this innovation, Etecnic consolidated its presence in international markets and in 2022 was recognized as the third public operator of charging points in Spain and the first among SMEs.

Currently, Etecnic manages more than 4,300 charging points nationwide and more than 15,000 integrated into EVcharge globally, with more than one million users.

Innovation and technology

With the launch of Bastida LAB in 2022, its new headquarters in Reus, Etecnic bet on innovation in electric mobility, incorporating advanced projects such as Smart Pricing and aggregate demand management to integrate renewable energies into the smart electric mobility ecosystem.

This recognition in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Programme reflects Etecnic’s commitment to innovation and sustainability, positioning itself as a benchmark in electric mobility both nationally and internationally.
