Etecnic Movilidad Eléctrica has been recognized with a runner-up award in the Innovation in SMEs category at the Quality Innovation Awards (QIA) 2025, an international benchmark accolade that distinguishes the most advanced innovations with the greatest impact on society and industry.
The awards ceremony took place at the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC) in Madrid, in an edition marked by high participation —with nearly a hundred candidacies— and by the technological level of the submitted projects. In total, the jury of the Asociación de Centros Promotores de la Excelencia (CEX) selected eight winning innovations and eleven runners-up from nine autonomous communities.
Smart Pricing, Etecnic’s innovation recognized among the best in the country
The runner-up award obtained by Etecnic distinguishes Smart Pricing, a technological solution that allows offering dynamic charging prices in real time for electric vehicle charging stations.
The QIA Awards 2025: boosting innovation with international projection
The QIA, created in Finland in 2007, recognize projects that stand out for their novelty, utility, customer orientation, learning, and effectiveness. Each proposal is evaluated by a committee of experts, which analyzes and validates the degree of innovation and the impact of the projects before the final jury makes its decision.
In this edition, the awarded projects include solutions in areas such as industrial sustainability, healthcare, education, the public sector, startups, and large corporations: from machining with recycled CO₂ to advanced gene and cell-based therapies, canine training systems with real scents, immersive technologies for robotic inspection, or scanning devices to improve efficiency in tunnel construction.
The winning innovations in each category will compete in 2026 in the international phase of the Quality Innovation Award, representing Spain before organizations from countries such as Finland, Estonia, Hungary, India, Sweden, China, or Thailand.

Best SME Award at the Premios Internacionales de Movilidad 2025, organized by Empresas por la Movilidad Sostenible and backed by MITMA, MITECO, Fundación CONAMA, and the Real Academia de Ingeniería.
Finalist in the international The Smarter E AWARD 2025 (Munich), in the eMobility category, where it was presented at the Power2Drive Europe exhibition.
