Martorell installs semi-fast charging points for electric vehicles with solar energy thanks to a photovoltaic canopy.

At this location, there are 2 semi-fast charging points of 22 kW connected to the photovoltaic canopy.

Project details

Martorell City Council has installed 2 chargers of 22 kW each, connected to a canopy with 20 photovoltaic panels of 9.1 kWp, capable of producing 12,000 kWh of energy per year.

  • Capacity to service 4 parking spaces.
  • The photovoltaic energy production allows for 600 annual charges of 20 kWh each.
  • The surplus photovoltaic energy is used to power the adjacent sports center.

The new charging points, integrated into the charging network managed by EVcharge, feature advanced monitoring and control technology, guaranteeing a safe and worry-free charge.

A SaaS platform implemented in more than 3,000 charging points. Etecnic performs the operation, maintenance, and technical assistance duties.

MOVES III Program

Martorell has accessed the Moves III grant for the installation of these charging points. In recent years, Etecnic has successfully managed over 90% of MOVES Plan applications.
