At the same time, cooperation between the public and private sectors is essential to achieving this goal. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>In this regard, the Catalan Association of Municipalities (ACM) has validated <a href=\"https:\/\/etecnic.es\/\">Etecnic<\/a> as an official charging services provider for all city councils operating within its regulatory frameworks, including the company in its centralized purchasing body since 2017. In this way, regional municipalities can procure chargers and other necessary resources to foster electric mobility in a simple manner endorsed by a leading institution.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">To achieve this, Etecnic has passed the required technical, economic, and security standards that guarantee the energy efficiency and quality of the equipment.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>Expansion of Etecnic&#8217;s public electric charging point network in Catalonia<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The company began installing electric charging points in Catalonia in 2016 and subsequently expanded its services across various municipalities in Catalonia and other autonomous communities. In this sense, its year-over-year growth in terms of <\/span><b>public charging points supplied to city councils<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> has unfolded as follows:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>2016<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: installation of charging points begins in the province of Barcelona, specifically a semi-fast charger in Mollet del Vall\u00e8s. <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>2017: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">15 new chargers are installed, the majority providing semi-fast charging.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>2018:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> expanded with 44 new chargers deployed across Catalonia. <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>2019: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the number of charging points reaches 100 with 40 new installations.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>2020:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> 47 new charging points are installed, of which over 40% offer fast charging.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>2021:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> demand grows rapidly, expanding the charging footprint with 55 new installations.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>2022<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: the number of installations doubles, adding 129 new charging points in 2022, including 108 semi-fast chargers. <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/etecnic.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Captura-de-pantalla-2023-11-09-091330.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Installed in Catalonia up to 2022, there were 331 Etecnic chargers: 245 semi-fast chargers and 85 fast chargers. <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span \/><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>The vast majority of charging points have been procured through the ACM<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">The ACM agreement is designed to provide local momentum for low-emission, electric, and hybrid vehicles, as well as motorcycles, electric bicycles, and charging points.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><b>municipalities adhering to the ACM framework<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> can perform aggregated purchasing, which streamlines and facilitates the procurement process of high-quality products for city councils, public bodies, and state-owned companies.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\">\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In this manner, Catalan municipalities demonstrate a clear commitment to sustainability policies. In the words of the Secretary General of the ACM, Marc Pifarr\u00e9, it allows city councils to achieve \u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">significant cost savings, reduced administrative procedures, experienced purchasing power, and maximum legal certainty in procurement.<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Since 2017, Etecnic has participated in <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the various Sustainable Mobility Framework Agreements established by the Catalan Association of Municipalities (ACM), presenting solutions that cover executive engineering projects, installation of semi-fast (up to 22 kW) and fast (up to 50 kW) charging points, EVcharge management software, and solar carports.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">Currently, the following active framework agreements are in force:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">1. Solar photovoltaic equipment supply framework agreement for local entities in Catalonia (File 2021.03):<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">Lot 2: Supply, installation, and commissioning of solar carports<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">Lot 3: Supply, installation, and commissioning of semi-fast charging points<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">Lot 4: Maintenance and management of charging points<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\"><\/div>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>Take advantage of MOVES III\u2014time is running out!<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">The Next Generation subsidy \u2013 <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/etecnic.bisiestodeveloper.es\/en\/etecnic_en\/take-advantage-of-the-moves-iii-top-up-grants-time-is-running-out\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">MOVES III<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <span style=\"color: #000000;\">administered locally by <a href=\"https:\/\/icaen.gencat.cat\/es\/inici\/index.html\">ICAEN<\/a> (Catalan Energy Institute), represents a prime opportunity for companies and city councils interested in promoting sustainable mobility locally during the current year as well as in 2024 or 2025, given that projects can be executed up to one year after approval. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Small <\/span><b>businesses and city councils can save up to 60% (or even up to 80% in the case of fee-based charging points) through this grant program<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>Etecnic360 <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">provides executive technical report drafting, essential for securing grant approvals.
