{"id":33894,"date":"2025-07-29T06:46:24","date_gmt":"2025-07-29T06:46:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/etecnic.bisiestodeveloper.es\/sin-categoria\/etecnic-participates-in-the-public-private-roundtable-on-electric-mobility-in-catalonia\/"},"modified":"2025-07-29T06:46:24","modified_gmt":"2025-07-29T06:46:24","slug":"etecnic-participates-in-the-public-private-roundtable-on-electric-mobility-in-catalonia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/etecnic.bisiestodeveloper.es\/en\/sector\/etecnic-participates-in-the-public-private-roundtable-on-electric-mobility-in-catalonia\/","title":{"rendered":"Etecnic Participates in the Public-Private Roundtable on Electric Mobility in Catalonia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\"><strong>Jorge R\u00edos, CEO of <a href=\"https:\/\/etecnic.es\/\">Etecnic<\/a>, represents the electric mobility technology sector in the new strategic assembly driven by the Generalitat to accelerate the transition towards a more sustainable mobility.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\">The Generalitat de Catalunya has established the <strong>Public-Private Roundtable for the Electric Vehicle<\/strong>, a strategic coordination forum that gathers key players in the electric mobility ecosystem: public administrations, energy companies, vehicle and charging point manufacturers, mobility operators, parking management firms, and installers.<\/p>\n<p>Representing Etecnic, <strong>Jorge R\u00edos, CEO of the company<\/strong>, attended this first meeting, which was presided over by the Minister of Business, <strong>Miquel S\u00e0mper<\/strong>, and also attended by companies such as Endesa, Iberdrola, Seat, Circutor, Fastned, Saba, Tesla Chargers, Silence, Atlante, among others.<\/p>\n<h3>A strategic commitment to accelerate change<\/h3>\n<p data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\">The Roundtable was established as a governance tool to monitor the <a href=\"https:\/\/empresa.gencat.cat\/ca\/treb_ambits_actuacio\/industria\/industria-catalana\/oficina-auto\/pla-dimpuls-al-vehicle-electric-2025-2030\/index.html#googtrans(ca|es)\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Electric Vehicle Promotion Plan 2025-2030<\/strong><\/a>, which structures <strong>20 measures divided into five strategic axes<\/strong>, with ambitious targets:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1177\" data-end=\"1565\">\n<li data-start=\"1177\" data-end=\"1243\">\n<p data-start=\"1179\" data-end=\"1243\">Triple EV adoption to reach the European average.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1244\" data-end=\"1325\">\n<p data-start=\"1246\" data-end=\"1325\">Double the charging infrastructure, prioritizing fast and ultrafast points.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1326\" data-end=\"1397\">\n<p data-start=\"1328\" data-end=\"1397\">Achieve <strong>90% electrification<\/strong> within the Generalitat&#8217;s own fleet.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1398\" data-end=\"1472\">\n<p data-start=\"1400\" data-end=\"1472\"><strong>Drive 180,000 new registrations<\/strong> of electrified vehicles.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1473\" data-end=\"1525\">\n<p data-start=\"1475\" data-end=\"1525\"><strong>Create 9,000 new public charging points<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1526\" data-end=\"1565\">\n<p data-start=\"1528\" data-end=\"1565\"><strong>Save 470,000 tons of CO\u2082 emissions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1567\" data-end=\"1812\">Additionally, the plan contemplates strengthening the Catalan industrial value chain, focusing specifically on <strong>battery production, electronic components, and smart mobility solutions<\/strong>, consolidating Catalonia as an innovation hub.<\/p>\n<h3 data-pm-slice=\"1 2 []\">Jorge R\u00edos&#8217; vision: a focus on trust and infrastructure<\/h3>\n<p>In the words of Jorge R\u00edos, following his participation in the inaugural session:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>&#8220;From Etecnic, we extend our full support to this space for dialogue and joint work.
