This regulation establishes a <\/span><b>new obligation for charge point operators (CPOs)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> with publicly accessible infrastructures and power capacities equal to or greater than 43 kW: <\/span><b>to submit dynamic information to the new Management and Visualization System (SGV)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> managed by Red El\u00e9ctrica de Espa\u00f1a (REE).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From now on, these operators must provide the following data in real time:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><b>public retail price<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of electricity or the charging service.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><b>availability of the charging point<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This requirement addresses the need to improve the transparency of the electricity system and facilitate information for end-users, aligning with the Government&#8217;s sustainable mobility objectives.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Which regulations govern this?<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The new functions assigned to REE as the Responsible Entity for the SGV are backed by the following regulatory framework:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Order TED\/445\/2023<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, of April 28th.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Law 7\/2021<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, on climate change and energy transition.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Royal Decree 184\/2022<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, regulating the energy charging service.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Law 37\/2007<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, on the reuse of public sector information.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Resolution of the State Secretariat for Energy<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (approved on November 23rd, 2024), detailing the technical instructions of the SGV.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><b>What are the implications for operators?<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><b>integration into the SGV is mandatory<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for all publicly accessible charging stations with power capacity equal to or greater than 43 kW, and voluntary for those with lower capacity.
