Electric mobility in Spain receives a new boost with the launch of new public subsidy programs<\/b> aimed at both individuals and companies, as well as infrastructure operators. The Plan Auto+<\/b>, the new MOVES Corredores<\/a><\/b>, and the MOVES Flotas Plus<\/a> program<\/b> have been launched with the goal of supporting transport decarbonization and the accelerated rollout of the charging network.<\/p>\n

These initiatives are part of the Plan Espa\u00f1a Auto 2030<\/b><\/a>, which aims to consolidate a sustainable, competitive mobility ecosystem aligned with European climate targets.<\/p>\n

Plan Auto+: 400 Million Euros to Accelerate Electric Vehicle Purchases<\/h3>\n

The Plan Auto+<\/b> will have a budget of 400 million euros in 2026<\/b> in direct subsidies for purchasing vehicles, after having already mobilized 1,700 million euros through the Plan MOVES in recent years.<\/p>\n

One of the main novelties is that these subsidies will be managed directly by the central Government<\/b>, rather than by the autonomous communities, with the objective of speeding up procedures<\/b>, standardizing criteria, and ensuring funds reach families and businesses more quickly.<\/p>\n

MOVES Corredores: More Charging Infrastructure on Highways and Charging Blind Spots<\/h3>\n

The second major priority of the Plan Espa\u00f1a Auto 2030 is charging infrastructure<\/b>, featuring the launch of the new MOVES Corredores<\/b>, backed by 300 million euros<\/b>.<\/p>\n

This program aims to deploy charging stations in so-called “blind spots”<\/b>, especially on roads where there is currently insufficient coverage, thereby complying with the European AFIR<\/a> (Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Regulation<\/a>)<\/b>.<\/p>\n
